Tierney is a hand turned pen that I made from acrylic and reclaimed Kentucky tobacco stick wood salvaged from a more than 100-year-old barn in Jessamine County, Kentucky.
This streamline-style hand turned pen with black ink twists to extend the ink for writing and twists the opposite direction to retract. The pen is refillable and comes with a pen case and care instructions.

A little about me….
I’m a historical archaeologist and spend my days excavating sites, analyzing artifacts, and writing up my findings. When I’m not in the field, you’ll find me in my woodshop. I primarily use found and reclaimed wood from here in Central Kentucky. It’s my hope that incorporating elements of the wood as I found it into each piece serves as a reminder that the object you see once was part of a beautiful, living tree.
